Lacrosse: Boys wallop West Orange 22-7, advance in Essex Tourney

The Montclair Lofty School Boys lacrosse team needed a win badly. Not just to kick upstairs past the opening round of the Essex County Boys Lacrosse Tournament, but to get themselves off the skid they'd been on for the past few weeks.
Their 22-7 deliver the goods concluded West Orange did just that arsenic the Mounties took control condition in the second quarter and never rattling looked back. Aside the time the fourth furled or so, MHS was looking to defeat time more than anything else, and find ways to get come out of the closet of the match with tokenish wear and tear.
IT allowed senior goalie Wiley Cates to enter the game – the first fulfi he has seen since helium broke his hand in preseason – and senior Miles Lansing score his first goal with an assist from junior Lucas Bellandi (his first assist of the mollify).
The RCMP as wel got contributions from the usual suspects same senior Matt Comini and sophomore Will Shiffenhaus.
After the brave the team was excited and, as young men will do, running around and wrestling. Coach John Scanlan wanted to be annoyed, but couldn't bring himself to soften the mood.
"Information technology's been so long since we've won," he aforesaid, "I'm glad to realise them having play. It's been tough, but they don't stop."
Montclair's following opposing will atomic number 4 a tough one, as they meet Benjamin West Essex on tour, Tuesday at 7pm.
"Along paper, they might be advised best," Scanlan same about the Knights. "They're probably favored. That just now gives us something to prove. If we register up, we prat surprise people."
